Popsicles on the Playground is an event for all Pre-K students and (newly enrolled) Kindergarten students. Families will meet the teacher, learn safety and pick-up procedures and drop off school supplies.

Important Information: Families can walk students into the building. Students will go directly to classrooms. There will be photo backdrop opportunities.

Moms Prayer Breakfast

LCA and CCA moms, join us for a special morning where we will gather to pray and enjoy a light breakfast! This is the perfect opportunity to meet other moms and engage in partnering with us as we focus on praying for our students, staff, faculty, and community. We will gather in the cafeteria on Friday, August 30th at Cornerstone Christian Academy from 8:15-9:00AM. This event will be followed by the CCA All School Chapel from 9:05-9:35 AM. We can't wait to see you there!

Families receive a new car pick up tag each year. Families will pick up their 2024-2025 car tag from their classroom teacher during our Back-to-School events.
Please look for your summer mailer and specific instructions for back-to-school night.

Cornerstone Youth Sports

‍

Cornerstone Youth Sports will offer KISL Girls and Boys Basketball. We have the opportunity to offer soccer, flag football, and volleyball. We are in search of parent volunteers to coach these teams. Please contact Alex Good if you are interested. agood@lcstn.org

Aftercare

‍

Starting this 2024-2025 school year, we are requiring parents/guardians to complete a registration form for aftercare. On this form you will select a plan based on your family's needs.

‍

If you have multiple children attending aftercare, you may complete one registration form. Please include information for each of your children in the appropriate fields below. You must complete the registration prior to your child's first day attending aftercare.

‍

‍We, as a school, understand that emergencies happen. If your child isn't picked up by 3:20pm and they are NOT registered for aftercare, they will report to the front office and our office staff will contact you about pick-up arrangements for your child.

‍

‍Hours of Aftercare:

‍3:20p.m.-5:30p.m. *Your child(ren) must be picked up promptly at 5:30p.m.

‍Cost: $10 per day

Security & Safety

‍

Here are a few tips and guidelines from CCA Safety Officer Gary Lowe for students and parents:

‍

1. All hangtags must be displayed while in the car line.

2. Obey the speed limit and follow the directions of staff members directing traffic.

3. Stay in your vehicle while in the car line.

4. Do not approach the front entrance between 2:30 and 3:20 pm.

5. Always have your ID when entering the school.

‍

To pick up a child, the assigned car tag MUST be displayed. If someone else is picking up the child, they must have a car tag if utilizing the car line.

‍

Uniform Wear

‍

Please make sure all clothing items, water bottles, lunch boxes, etc. have the students' names on them.

Family Portal

Below are the instructions on how to create your FACTS SIS Family Portal Account. This is where you will be able to access your student's grades and assignments, add cafeteria funds, view financial statements, and more!

Instructions to setup your Family Portal Account:

Link to the Family Portal https://lake-tn.client.renweb.com/pwr/
Click the “Create New Family Portal Account” next to the Log In button at the bottom of the form
The district code will appear at the top of the form (LAKE-TN)
Enter in the Email field your email address as provided in your application to the school.
Click the Create Account button.
You will receive an email from RenWeb Customer Support containing a link that will allow you to create your username and password. For security purposes, the link will remain active for 6 hours.
Please click on the link A Change/Create Password screen will open. You may use the default username provided, or create a new username. Then type in your desired password into the Password field and Confirm Field.
Click on the Save Username and/or Password button.
Close the window.
Log into your Family Portal as instructed above.
