Security & Safety

Here are a few tips and guidelines from CCA Safety Officer Gary Lowe for students and parents:

  • Be on the lookout for all school zone signals, signs and always obey the school zone speed limit.  Go slow.
  • Watch out for school crossing guards and obey their signals.
  • Be aware of children darting between vehicles.
  • Do not pass other vehicles in the school zones and car lines.
  • Do not text when driving, especially in a school zone.
  • Please do not park in or block handicapped parking spaces.
  • Do not block the crosswalk.
  • Stay in your vehicle in the car lines.
  • Please inform anyone who may come to drop off or pick up a student.

In order to pick up a child, the assigned car tag MUST be displayed. If someone else is picking up the child, they must have a car tag if utilizing the car line. If you do not have a tag, you must come in to sign out the child.

The safety patrol will be helping in the morning and afternoon. Please let them know if you do not want them to open your doors.

Everyone must sign in at the front desk. Please have all identification necessary.

Thank you for allowing me the privilege to serve and protect your child here at CCA. Their safety and protection is my number one priority. Please always feel free to contact me if you have any questions, concerns or problems. Glowe@lcstn.org
