Financial Aid Information

We are committed to making the educational experience at all Lakeway Christian Schools affordable and accessible.

Education Freedom Scholarship
Lakeway Christian Schools proudly accepts the Education Freedom Scholarship (EFS), a State of Tennessee program that helps eligible families apply scholarship funding directly toward tuition. This opportunity makes a Christ-centered private education more accessible for many families across our community.

All families are encouraged to apply for the EFS, regardless of income. Awards are typically about $7,000 per student and are applied directly to tuition through the state portal. Because EFS funding reduces the amount families are responsible to pay, it plays an important role in helping more students attend Lakeway.

Families who receive EFS should know:
• EFS funding is applied before any school-based financial aid
• If an EFS award is lower than a financial aid award, the school may cover the remaining difference based on demonstrated need

Lakeway Christian Schools encourages every eligible family to apply through the Tennessee EFS portal as part of the admissions and financial planning process. Our goal is to help families make wise use of available state resources while extending the reach of our limited
internal aid to serve as many students as possible.

We use Blackbaud Grant & Aid as our financial aid program. We encourage families who feel they need financial assistance to submit their financial information through the Blackbaud Grant & Aid application process. Blackbaud will independently review and analyze your financial situation and provide a recommended award to the LCS Financial Aid Committee. Once an award is accepted by the Financial Aid Committee, you will be notified and exact tuition payments will be calculated.
