Lakeway Christian Academy’s Soccer program, established in 2019, encompasses both middle school and high school men’s’ and women’s’ teams.
Our goal is to holistically develop student-athletes, both on and off the field, through the great game of soccer! Our guiding principles include:
Cheryl Goodall is completing her 9th year as a physical education teacher, four years with Lakeway Christian Schools. She played collegiate soccer at Berry College as a goalkeeper. She is originally from central Florida where her high school women’s’ soccer tenure included two state championships. She has ten years' coaching experience with select development programs, as well as four years with middle and high school girls' soccer programs.
Mick Wilson is a recently retired United States Naval officer with 27 years of service. He was on a dual athletic and Naval ROTC scholarship playing Division 1 college soccer. Throughout his naval career he played and coached the All-Navy and All-Armed Forces soccer programs, including the inaugural 16-country Military World Cup held by the Conseil International du Sport Militaire in Baku, Azerbaijan. He holds a D license from U.S. Soccer Federation and an Advanced National Diploma from United Soccer Coaches.
All Lakeway Christian Academy Student-Athletes will be required to pay an Athletic Fee in order to participate.
This fee is assessed the first week of games for the team the student-athlete participates on.
